By accessing or using Agreement Assistant (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Agreement Assistant is an AI-powered tool that enables you to record conversation audio, generate agreement summaries using artificial intelligence, save agreements to Google Drive, and share summaries with participants for confirmation via email.

3. Account & Authentication

• You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others.

4. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for obtaining consent from all participants before recording conversations. Recording someone without their knowledge or consent may violate applicable laws.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• The agreements generated by the Service are AI-assisted summaries and do not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before sharing or relying on it.
• You must only provide participant email addresses for individuals who have consented to receive communications.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• The Service offers free starter credits and paid plans (Pro subscription and credit packs).
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to request a refund.
• Unused credits do not expire while your account remains active.

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of all audio recordings and agreement content you create using the Service.
• We do not claim ownership over your content. We only process it to provide the Service.
• The Agreement Assistant name, logo, and software are our intellectual property.

7. AI-Generated Content

Summaries are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal validity of any generated content. Always review summaries carefully before sharing or making decisions based on them.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to disputes, losses, or legal issues resulting from reliance on AI-generated summaries.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page.
