1. What We Do

Agreement Assistant (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered tool that lets you record conversation audio, generate agreement summaries using Google Gemini, and share those summaries with participants for confirmation via email.

2. Information We Collect

• Google account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This is used to identify you and pre-fill participant details.
• Audio recordings: Audio recorded in-browser is sent to our server for processing by Google Gemini. We do not store audio recordings after the summary is generated.
• Agreement text: The generated summaries and any edits you make are stored temporarily to enable email delivery and approval tracking.
• Participant information: Names and email addresses of participants you add are used solely to send agreement summaries and collect approvals.
• Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity via Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In).
• To generate agreement summaries from your audio using Google Gemini AI.
• To send agreement summaries to participants via email (powered by Resend).
• To save agreements and audio to your Google Drive when you request it.
• To manage your subscription and credit balance.
• To track approval status of agreements.

4. Google Drive Access

When you choose to save to Google Drive, we request access to the drive.file scope. This only allows us to create and manage files that Agreement Assistant creates — we cannot read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• Firebase Authentication — for Google Sign-In and identity management.
• Google Gemini — for AI-powered audio transcription and summary generation.
• Google Drive API — to save agreements and audio to your Drive (only when you request it).
• Stripe — for subscription and payment processing.
• Resend — for transactional email delivery.

6. Data Retention

• Audio recordings are processed in memory and not persisted after summary generation.
• Agreement records and approval status are retained to support the approval workflow.
• Account and subscription data is retained while your account is active.

7. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure for authentication and storage. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.

8. Your Rights

You can:

• Sign out at any time to disconnect your Google account.
• Revoke Google Drive access from your Google Account permissions.
• Request deletion of your data by contacting us.
